roooby image search tips

There are a few wildcards you can use to make your search easier and more targeted. Many of them follow standard Twitter search operators.

#hashtag - search for all images that have been tagged with a hashtag. For example, you could try #dog.

@username - search for all images from a particular user. For example, you could try @stephenfry

*location - search for all images tagged as near a particular location. For example, you could try *newyork. Please note, this feature is coming soon.

 

More advanced operators

Again, these are standard twitter operators:

red shoes - returns images containing both "red" and "shoes". This is the default operator.

"happy hour" - returns images containing the exact phrase "happy hour".

love OR hate - returns images containing either "love" or "hate" (or both).

beer -wine - returns images containing "beer" but not "wine".

movie -scary :) - returns images containing "movie", but not "scary", and with a positive attitude.

flight :( - returns images containing "flight" and with a negative attitude.

traffic ? - returns images containing "traffic" and asking a question.

hilarious filter:links - returns images containing "hilarious" and linking to URLs.
